Smart Tech Systems recently completed a wireless point-to-point network installation for two neighbouring commercial office buildings in Clifton, Bristol.

The client’s offices were originally connected using a hardwired data cable between the two buildings, allowing both sites to operate as a single network. However, after the fibre optic cable was accidentally damaged, the entire connection between the offices was lost, causing significant disruption for staff and day-to-day operations.
To prevent future outages and improve network resilience, the client approached Smart Tech Systems to design and install a backup wireless bridge connection that would automatically take over should the primary wired link fail again.
